IHealth: Updated Supports

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

IHealth Central Support has now transitioned from a project support schedule to an operational support schedule.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

For Immediate Support:

For 24/7 remote support:

  • Call Clinical Service Desk at 18777 option 3 (or 250-370-8777 option 3).  If your concern is about CPOE likely you will need the nurse informaticist on call and you can ask for that individual to be contacted.
  • To find CPOE and enhanced EHR Resources, click the “Band-Aid” support widget at the top of your device screen.

 

For elbow-to-elbow assistance, Monday to Friday, 0700-1600h:

  • Call the Island Health switchboard and ask for ProEX on site (Provider Education and Experience team).

 

For Skill sharpeners:

Drop in to RJH or VGH Engagement Labs, Monday to Friday, 0700-1500h.

  • VGH engagement lab is room S275 next to the physician lounge.
  • New RJH engagement lab location:  DT 1391, in ED area across from Medical Imaging

Report a quality or safety concern:

  • Report through the Patient Safety and Learning System (PSLS).
