Over the next several weeks, we’ll be celebrating those who received South Island MSA Recognition Awards at this year’s Annual General Meeting.
Our first award goes to two very familiar faces to those working at VGH and RJH. As nominated by Dr. Alicia Power and Dr. Catherine Jenkins, we recognize the contributions of Dr. Kellie Whitehill and Dr. Pooya Kazemi with the award for Communications Leadership.
Often working behind the scenes, Kellie and Pooya have been key to the IHealth implementations at RJH and VGH. They literally scoured every inch of their hospitals to find places where workstations could go. Their willingness to engage in conversation, receive feedback, share information, and simply be available to medical staff has been outstanding. Their voices representing physicians who work in Victoria have been essential and thoughtful at IHealth tables.
It is with great appreciation that we recognize Drs. Kazemi and Whitehill with this Award for Communications Leadership.
