Island Health has residual Health System Redesign funding available for HA-led physician engagement activities planned during this fiscal year. This funding is available as the result of underspending by project teams that have approved funding for this fiscal year. The estimated amount available at this time is approximately $60,000. A firm amount will be known by October 7, which is the deadline for all project teams to submit Q2 physician invoices.

Please keep in mind that this funding is for HA-led system redesign (not physician-led redesign or quality improvement), and as usual, MSAs and the Divisions of Family Practice will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on the applications before funding is allocated.
