Over the next few weeks, we’ll be recognizing those who received South Island MSA Recognition Awards at this year’s Annual General Meeting.
The first award is for Community Leadership. It gives us the chance to recognize colleagues who have fostered physician-to-physician relationships to improve professional and collegial bonds.
Alanna Black put forward a warm nomination for Dr. Anne Nguyen.
As a member of the South Island MSA Physician Wellness and Social Committee, Anne is a voice and face known locally. But recently, she has taken on the role of Physician Lead at the Physician Health Program, the provincial team that cares for physicians and their health.
In this new position, Anne’s caring nature, thoughtful leadership, and empathetic approach infuses PHP’s work and permeates to doctors across the province. By focusing on physician wellbeing, Anne is improving professional and collegial bonds not only locally, but throughout British Columbia.
We are delighted to celebrate Dr. Anne Nguyen with this Award for Community Leadership!
