From the IHealth Regional Council meeting of Jan 16:
- A significant migration is needed to move the system to the Remote Hosting Option. This will require an 8 hour system downtime.
- Based on many factors (timing, urgency, staffing, ED throughput, Nanaimo availability), the preferred date for this has been determined to be Fri, Feb 23 (22.00) – Sat, Feb 24 (06.00).
- IHealth will communicate batches of information to support this ‘planned Code Grey.’
- 7×24 viewers, PACS, and CareConnect will all be available. Details of what has to be printed is being worked on. 7×24 will not be updated until it is transferred to the new servers.
- The 8 hours of downtime is for the technical switch: There will be some lead up and restart time needed as well. It will be important to get ahead of this messaging.
