Physician Engagement Opportunity: Parenteral Nutrition Process Redesign

The HSR-funded project – Parenteral Nutrition Process Redesign – is seeking physician input into the review and development of parenteral ordering processes to meet regulatory requirements and reduce variation in care across sites.  Health System Redesign funding ($17,915) is committed to this project, allocated entirely to physician compensation.  Engagement will be in the form of attendance at quarterly meetings for up to 10 physicians from sites across the Island (approximately 1.5-2.0 hrs per quarter @ $158.97/hr).   Input will be sought from an additional 10 physicians at broad meetings to be scheduled in Q2 and Q4 (physicians will be compensated at $158.97/hr for their participation).   A few more details are included below for your consideration.  Interested physicians can reach out to project co-lead Dr. Justin Shah (Justin.Shah@islandhealth.ca) and/or Jennifer Burger, Clinical Coordinator-Nutrition Services (Jennifer.Burger@islandhealth.ca).
