What? New artwork in the VGH Doctors’ Lounge?

We’re delighted to share that the Doctors’ Lounge at VGH keeps getting better, this time thanks to medical staff.  Four new photos grace the walls of the lounge, bringing a sense of peace and beauty.

Three of the photos are by Dr. Richard Reid, who has generously shared his art with the MSA over the years.  (You can also enjoy his work in our newsletters and annual reports.)

The fourth is of Dr. Rusty Ritenour, taken by his son of Emmett.

Sincere thanks to Emmett and Richard for sharing their art with us!  We still have lots of space on the walls and would welcome the work of other artists on our midst.  Please let us know if you’re open to sharing your work with the medical community!

And if you’re wondering what happened to all the old photos, don’t panic:  They have found a new home within the archives of the Victoria Medical Society.
